Jaw Pain and TMJ Dysfunction

At Flex Physio & Wellness, we offer specialized treatment for jaw pain and TMJ (temporomandibular joint) dysfunction. TMJ dysfunction refers to a condition where the jaw joint and the muscles controlling jaw movement become dysfunctional, leading to pain, discomfort, and limited motion. Symptoms can include jaw clicking or popping, headaches, neck pain, difficulty chewing, and a feeling of locking in the jaw. Our skilled physiotherapists use a combination of manual therapy, exercises, and posture correction techniques to alleviate pain, improve jaw mobility, and restore proper function. Whether your TMJ issues are related to injury, stress, or other factors, we tailor our treatments to help reduce discomfort and support your recovery, allowing you to eat, speak, and move with ease.

We Also Offer TMJ Massage Therapy

Physiotherapy isn't the only way we treat jaw pain. Courtney Romancewicz, RMT has a special focus on TMJ treatment, using hands-on massage techniques for the muscles of the jaw, face, head, neck, and shoulders. Massage can be booked on its own or combined with physiotherapy for a team approach to jaw tension, clenching, and tension headaches.
